From our founding in 2006 to Bundesliga NRW. Two decades of cricket in Bonn — and we're writing the next chapter right now.
The Beginnings (2006)
Der Golden Star Cricket Club wurde im Jahr 2006 in Bonn gegründet — aus dem Wunsch heraus, den Cricketsport in der Region sichtbar zu machen und eine sportliche Heimat für Spieler aus der ganzen Welt zu schaffen, die in Bonn und Umgebung leben.
What started as a small group of committed cricket enthusiasts quickly grew into a registered association (e.V.) and a permanent member of the German Cricket Federation (DCB) and the West German Cricket Association (WDCV).

Rise to the Top
In den darauffolgenden Jahren hat sich GSCC konsequent nach oben gearbeitet. Heute sind wir stolz darauf, als einziger Verein aus dem Großraum Bonn und Köln in der Bundesliga NRW vertreten zu sein. Unsere zweite Mannschaft sichert unseren Platz in der Regionalliga NRW und dient als wichtige Entwicklungsbühne für aufstrebende Talente.

Community Engagement
Since the club's founding we have seen ourselves not only as a competitive club but also as part of social life in Bonn. We particularly support young people and young refugees, offering them access to community through cricket and promoting integration, team spirit, and equal opportunity.
Today and Tomorrow
Two decades after its founding, GSCC is firmly established in German cricket. Our path continues: more training opportunities, stronger youth work, European tournaments, and the ambition to put Bonn on the cricket map in Germany and Europe.
